A Message from the Campaign Co-Chairs “It’s Up to Us” This year celebrates the 30th anniversary of the “Pearl of the North—30 years of creative minds showcasing their artistry in gallery exhibits and participating in studio workshops, musical events, and stage productions! What’s in store for the Bonifas for the next 30 years?  It has always been up to us to see that the Center continues to flourish.  Even when city, county, state, foundation and local business dollars are brought in to help, it’s the support of community members that is the strong foundation of the Center’s success. The fall campaign’s financial goal of $115,000 includes membership fees, donations and local business support.  This critical support compensates for diminishing state funds and ensure that classes, exhibits and school programs continue to be available for the community.  In addition, this funding helps guarantee that the doors remain open for resident affiliates such as Players de Noc and the Bay Area Arts Association.  Memberships account for 38% of the Art Center’s annual budget.  Now is the time to think about stepping up your membership level to support the Bonifas Arts Center with a tax-deductible contribution this fall.  It’s a sure way to put your money to good work supporting arts and cultural programs, performances and activities for everyone. Memberships begin at $30 for individuals and $40 for families.  Day sponsorships to commemorate a special day in honor or in memory of a loved one are available for a  $100 tax-deductible contribution.  As an added bonus all members receive a 10% discount on all workshops.  Stepping up your support of arts and culture in your community is simple.  Join the ‘Arts Partners’ category of giving with a contribution of $300 or more or, with a gift of $500 or more, join the ‘Benefactors’ level.  You can become a ‘Tower Society’ member by giving at the $1,000 plus level.
