Kids learn more about our local fish when they play “What Did You Catch?” and explore the Great Lakes Fisheries Heritage Trail, a program by Michigan Sea Grant. Gyotaku (Japanese fish prints) is the art project for the day. And everyone gets a chance to win the Whitefish cookbook!
The day wraps up with a Rowing Regatta that features all three of the U.P. Rowing Clubs and the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association.
Family Fund Days are sponsored in part by: Michigan Sea Grant
