Family Fun Day — Discover Our Great Lakes

Kids learn more about our local fish when they play “What Did You Catch?” and explore the Great Lakes Fisheries Heritage Trail, a program by Michigan Sea Grant. Gyotaku (Japanese fish prints) is the art project for the day. And everyone gets a chance to win the Whitefish cookbook! The day wraps up with a Rowing Regatta that features all three of the U.P. Poetry will meet art at the Bonifas this October! Poetry Meets Art, the title of a new exhibit in the Bonifas Studio Gallery on display now through Oct. 26, is a collection of early works by JoAnne Biallis Leffel.
