The Art of Breadmaking with Mike Berg: Ciabatta

Instructor: Mike Berg Date: October 4, 6 – 8 p.m. Ciabatta is a rustic Italian bread recipe. The bread is not dense, actually the interior has holes. The loaf is not beautiful, resembling a big house slipper (hence the name). But what it lacks in beauty, Ciabatta bread makes up in fantastic taste. It has a delightful chewy exterior and a soft light interior - a very pleasing combination for your taste buds! Don’t waste your time looking for a recipe – come to the Art of Breadmaking class instead! Artisanal baker and Bonifas instructor Mike Berg takes you each step of that way so that you can make some original ciabatta loaves for yourself. And once you baked them - use them in panini for authentic Italian lunch experience! Join the class and enjoy the smell and taste of freshly baked bread and a lively conversation with like-minded people!
