Phyllis and Clem Fleury were recognized as Volunteers of the Year at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Brunch for their service to the Bonifas Arts Center.
“Today we thank you, our volunteers, with a brunch to show how much we appreciate every one of you. We owe a huge part of our success to our volunteers and we could not do half of what we do for the community without every one of you,” said Kate Oman at the brunch.
“This year the Bonifas award Phyllis and Clem Fleury with the title of ‘Volunteer of the Year’. They have helped in all the areas of the Bonifas from helping set up tents at the Waterfront Arts Festival to decorating for the Night of Magic and Wizardry – and even playing a character at Wolfsbane the night of. Phyllis has been a huge help in laying out the gallery exhibit shows. Clem comes in and helps hang the artwork on the walls. When they aren’t busy with event, gallery, or class set ups, they give of their time by selling raffle tickets. We thank you for all that you do and want to award you with this honor for being great volunteers. Thank you.”
